A Little Introduction Brihath Shambhala

Sri Tathāta – A Guiding Light of Spiritual Awakening

Sri Tathāta is a revered spiritual luminary of our times, guiding countless seekers on the path of self-realization and inner transformation. Born in 1942 in the serene village of Vandithavalam, Palakkad (Kerala), his life has been one of deep spiritual purpose and divine alignment.

From early childhood, marked by the loss of his mother, Sri Tathāta was drawn toward renunciation and spiritual truth. Leaving home as a teenager, he embarked on a journey across sacred lands, ultimately receiving divine guidance at the Chidambaram Temple in Tamil Nadu. Returning to his native village, he undertook 17 years of intense tapasya beneath a sacred Peepal tree, near a Devi temple living in solitude and communion with the divine.

Biography

Sri Tathāta's spiritual path integrated Shaiva tapas and Shakti upāsana, all while rooted in the Vaishnava tradition, acknowledged by his grandfather who named him Narayanan. A transformative moment came at Sarnath, where he received the revelation of his true name—Tathāta, meaning “Such is That.” With this realization, he declared his enlightenment and life mission, which later took form as the Dharma Sūtras.

Our Mission Mission

Awakening the Collective Consciousness

Understanding the urgent need for collective transformation, Sri Tathāta has led powerful Vedic Yajnas like the Dharmasooya Mahāyāga, aiming to realign society with spiritual values. He also consecrated two Temples of Silence—in Palakkad and Kollur—offering seekers sacred spaces for deep meditation and inner stillness.
